FCA Building Project Update With a generous two acre land donation from C-Lemme Custom Homes, FCA will be breaking ground on a new three floor, 30,000 square-foot facility in the fall of 2007. With the ground breaking in the fall, FCA hopes to have all fundraising efforts finalized by the spring of 2008. The building will be completely funded by the generosity of FCA supporters and will be a 100% debt free facility. The facility will also provide South Dakota FCA with revenue close to $300,000 annually. This will be done by renting out office space to other non-profit businesses and organizations. Of the 30,000 square feet, FCA will only occupy approximately 2,500 square feet. The intent is to fill the building with as many non-profit organizations as possible and to give them a substantial break on their leases.
The FCA building will be located on 69th Street and Cliff Avenue. The building will be adjacent to the University of Sioux Falls Athletics Complex.
